Introduction to Wine Tasting
Aimed at beginners to the world of wine, you are within a stones throw of some of the best wine in the world, countless chateau offer free degustation (tastings) BUT what are you actually tasting for. It's all about understanding why you like a wine, as well as why you might not like one.
Journey Through Bordeaux
The famous Bordeaux blended whites that combine Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon to create a smooth textured richness. To the famous reds where you can sample left-bank Cabernet Sauvignon led wines, against right-bank Merlot dominated wines, highlighting the vintner's art of blending to produce the elegant age worthy wines Bordeaux is so known for.
Afternoon Guide to French Wines
Aimed at all experience levels, for an afternoon, we can take a group of you on a fun whistle stop tour of France - showing the key wine regions and some of their iconic wines. From Alsace to the Rhone valley, taking in whites, reds, rose and bubbles...

There are a huge number of wines available within the region. We have chosen just a few of our favourites - representing the best examples, which you won't just be able to pick up in your local supermarket.
These wines are made with love and care and represent both traditional and modern wine making practices. We hold these wines in stock so can give you tastings, explain the story behind them and offer you the opportunity to take them home.
Wine Tasting Mini-breaks
Set over several days we run complete packages with a full programme of learning, tastings and visits. All accommodation provided this is a perfect way to immerse yourselves in the world of Bordeaux wine.
Example Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival, First Night - Introduction to Wine Tasting & Meal with wines.
Day 2 - Breakfast - Followed by visit to local market, Light lunch, Afternoon - Deep dive tasting into cremant, whites and sweet wines of Bordeaux, Evening - meal with wines
Day 3 - Breakfast - Morning walk/free time, Light lunch, Afternoon - Deep dive into red wines of Bordeaux, Evening - Visit to local restuarant Chez Loic (food inclusive, drinks extra)
Day 4 - Breakfast, Day Visit to St.Emilion, Evening - Light snack, party evening.
Day 5 - Breakfast - Departure.
We have taken WSET Levels 2,3 and 4(diploma) and have an in depth knowledge of the wines of the world - which we love to share.
